Honorable Judge,

It has come to my attention that the well-known manufacturer of bicycles, the Schwinn Bicycle Company, is about to be dismantled.

I would like to make you aware that there has been an ongoing conspiracy to monopolize the bicycle market. From informed sources I received information about on-going criminal activity dating back to December of 1978. When one of the companies connected with Schwinn's "suppliers," was sued by Puch of America in Los Angeles Superior Court for embezzling ONE (1) MILLION DOLLARS (C264299).

Currently I am involved in being part of a dedicated group of citizens who are determined, with the help of courageous elected officials (including U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer) to restructure our economy in California. During the recent elections, I was one of the Congressional Candidates in our District (36th), and I had the opportunity to share my information with many other candidates including Ms. Maureen Reagan.

Sir, 1600 dedicated employees have lost their jobs as you know; but the 1800 loyal dealers and their families are still fearing for their economical survival. I believe it is of the greatest concern for you to prevent the conspirators from using our Federal Court to accomplish their goals. Many leaders in Transportation have been informed of this scheme to deprive the Americans of another prestigious and respected manufacturing company.

Our Governor, Pete Wilson, stated that for California to recover we must take action--"job by job by job." In that spirit, Americans ask you to review the whole case before granting more legal authority to those who are responsible for terminating our jobs and our industry.
